Chile Earthquake Update

I can't decide which earthquake was worse. You could say they were equal because the Haiti quake had a lower magnitude, but caused more damage. The Chile quake was a higher magnitude, but the Chileans were better prepared. So, yes, they are equal.

Trip to New York

Yesterday my family went to New York. In fact, I'm posting from New York right now! We came to New York to see my great aunt, who's moving to Long Island. Unfortunately, she had made a trip to Long Island to take some things there. So, we get to skip school, YAY!!!!!

Just to Catch You Up...

Here's what's been going on. First, we won a basketball game! Next, some of the Cub Scouts in my pack "crossed over" into Boy Scouts. Then, I found out we are going to go ice skating. Last, I posted "Just to Catch You Up...". That's what's been going on.

What's Been Going On?

It's been SO long since I've posted! We've been very busy recently. First, after I played the Spartens in Basketball, we lost 3 games. So to make a long post short, we still haven't actually won a game. Then I got sick. I got so sick we had to go to the doctor and they said I had to take 2 types of medicine! Believe me when I say I've had my share of time in the hospital. But the last time I was there was... 2003, I think! I'll try to post more often, but don't be surprised if I don't post by May!

Crazy Day

Today I'm amazed with myself. One, because we did so many things today and I'm not even tired. Today we had to go to two Basketball games (I did mention I play Basketball right???). We went to my brother's game first, and then mine. His game didn't keep score but mine did. In my game I played the Spartens and we tied 35 to 35. After that we went to an event called the Pinewood Derby and I got 1st place in my group! And then we went home and I published a post about my crazy day.

Report Card Update

Today I got my 2nd quarter report card. I got straight As! I'm really exited because I've been feeling uneasy about my grades. I don't know why.

Haiti Earthquake Update

My opinion of the Haiti earthquake: Worse then bad. I've been watching the reports on TV. I hope those people can eventuly rebuild their city. However, the thing I thought was really crazy was when the woman gave birth on the helicopter. Also, here is a list of things I know about the earthquake:

1. About 90% of the buildings are NOT standing.
2. Thousands of U.S.A troopers are helping Haiti recover.
3. It's going to take a long time to recover,but I hope they're going as fast as they can.
